Crocs Rule!
Steve's Influence
"He made me want to respect animals more. I use to be afraid of snakes & want to run over them or kill them, now I just shoo them away. I am an animal lover but some of the wild ones I am still afraid of but don't want to hurt them or see any animal hurt or mistreated. I just loved watching any of his shows. I am glad they finally brought his show back on in the mornings. I get to watch a little of them while getting ready for work. I still miss him greatly. He was one of a kind & there will never be another like him."
- Denise Moyer from Clearwater, Florida

Ever since I can remember i wanted to be just like him. he was so genuine and larger than life yet just a normal Aussie bloke. he taught me how to love all animals, even the ones who want to bite your face off. He made me think about the future, conservation, endangered species. He also taught me to have fun. Whereever he was, whatever he was doing, he was so happy and full of life. I now volunteer at an animal park and when im older i hope to work with animals, mainly reptiles. i want to educate the public about wildlife and how they can help. Our lives have often paralled each other. He is my guide and the wise one all rapped into one. There is also an element of spirituallity to all of this to. "Steve has influenced our family in so many ways and we have learnt so much about conservation him. Steve you taught us the importance of protecting the things that are important to us and to our planet. You taught us that if you can see it touch and feel it ( being the animals) then you will want save it. You taught us that snakes aren't evil ugly creatures that want to kill you that crocs aren't the horrible killers they are made out to be they are only following their instincts to protect themselves and their homes. We have learnt to love wildlife and protect it and to protect its habitat... In your memory we will continue to help Terri Bindi and Robert to do just that. "Steve taught me the value of education of wildlife on a mass scale. Many years ago I helped care for orphaned Australian marsupials. It took many many months to care for one animal. Steve taught me that if I could teach 100 people to care for one possum I then helped save 100 possums in the same time it would have taken me to save one. Today I still work as an education officer and seal trainer at our local aquarium. Thank you Steve"
